I am a native of New Orleans, La. I became a member of the Nativity BVM Family in 2014 under Sister Mary Jo Mike. Not only am I the first-grade assistant with my fabulous partner in crime, Naomi Foster, but I am also a key player in the after-school program with the older children (1 st through 6 th ). Since being a part of the Nativity Family, I have taken an active role wherever my help has been needed, without question. This includes directing Summer Saints for multiple summers, substituting every grade level and even working in the cafeteria when needed. I am married to Robert Byers, and we are blessed
with two wonderful children, Chaz and Izabelle. Chaz has graduated from Nativity in 2019 and is now a student at St Patrick’s and in the 7 th grade. Izabelle is a student at Nativity BVM and in the 5 th grade. We are proud parishioners of Nativity Catholic Cathedral in Biloxi, MS where Chaz and Izabelle are altar
servers.
