  • 2015 State Geography Bee

    Sixth graders participated in the National Geography Bee on January 29th. The finalists of the school bee were Breanna Abston, Ty Miller, Joseph Pullen and Syndi Wills.  After the final rounds, Ty Miller was named the school finalist. Ty took a qualifying test and will now compete in the State National Geography Bee on April 1st. Thank you to Mrs. Colleen Kavanagh for preparing the children and sponsoring this event.

  • 2015 Regional Reading Fair

    On March 10th. Caprie Wooden (Gr. 1), Landon Baxter (Gr. 4) and Priscilla Foster (Gr. 6) participated in the Regional Reading Fair in Hattiesburg. Priscilla Foster received a 3rd place award and Landon Baxter received a 1st place award in his division. Landon will proceed on to the State Reading Fair on April 29th. Special thanks to Mrs. Kelly Pennell (Nativity School Librarian) and the faculty and staff for their work with the children. UPDATE: Congratulations Landon Baxter who won second place at the State Reading Fair. We are so proud of him!

  • 2015 Regional Science Fair

    Twenty students from Nativity School qualified to participate in the Regional Science Fair which was held at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on March 1st. These first through sixth graders qualified for this honor because of their achievement at the school science fair.   • 1st Place Regional Robotics Competition

    1st Place Regional Robotics Competition

    The Nativity School Robotics Team, composed of students in Grades 4-6, received a first place trophy for robot performance at the St. Patrick’s Regional Robotic Competition on December 12th. The Team qualified to participate in the State Robotics Tournament on March 5th in Vicksburg, MS. Our thanks to Mrs. Debbie Worrel and the St. Patrick’s High School mentors as well as Nativity School staff for their work with the children.
